Braden and Nicola's Wedding at Sorrento, Auckland

Braden and Nicola's big day was effortless and elegant from start to finish. The couple both got prepped at a high rise hotel in downtown Auckland with spectacular views over the harbour. After a close encounter in the cark park where the bride and bridesmaids had to hide from the boys behind the elevators, we headed for a first look at Cornwall Park. A couple of photos, (the bride in her trusty Redband gumboots) with the bridal party before the ceremony meant we had loads of time to chill out after the I do's and mingle with guests before heading out for a couple more golden hour shots with just the bride and groom. The reception at Sorento was full of laughter and an impressive choreographed first dance where the guests joined the fun part-way through.

Anna and Scott's wedding at the Old Forest School, Bay of Plenty

Anna and Scotts day was seriously unique. Every inch of the wedding had them and their style written all over it.  It was great to see a couple put their own stamp so firmly on their special day and not be afraid to do away with some traditions and flip others on their head.  The day started with a swim and an hour or so of the bride and bridesmaids helping each other with beauty prep.  Happy smiles were exchanged as the bride and groom got ready together.  The ceremony was full of laughs and personal anecdotes.  Fun facts and embarrassing stories introduced the bridal party for the guests to really feel connected and to everyone involved.  Of course the pug stole the show on numerous occasions with his bow tie and matching lead.  Winding down with a feed from the Tag Burger truck and a Mr Whippy cone, the perfect way to finish off one amazing celebration.
