Rosalie and Mitch got married on one of the wettest days of the year. Luckily the torrential rain reduced to a fine mist for the first look, photos and ceremony. The tiny rain drops and stormy skies made for some dramatic images and moody backdrops, even better than the blue skies and scattered cloud I had been hoping for. I loved shooting the Coromandel Coast in a different light and although I'm sure it wasn't what what they had in mind I think the day was truly spectacular. A beautifully emotional ceremony, a fun bridal party and the sweetest bride and groom - it was all such a pleasure to photograph.
After seeing their amazing first dance I asked Rosalie to teach us a few dance moves for our wedding in March. We went from tripping over our own feet to half decent in only an hour!!
